Bookings are on a one-to-one basis, by appointment only.

Due to the overwhelming and incredible support, Stacey is currently pressing pause on accepting new clients. Therefore the online booking system is currently for existing clients only. The system will not allow new clients to register.

Any new client openings will be advertised across our social media platforms. If you would like to be added to our wait list please complete the form below to do so, choosing the waitlist option.

    Alternate Saturdays - 8.30 - 17.00

  • BEYOND is a hair salon located in Shepton Beauchamp, Ilminster, Somerset.

    Upon appointment booking a confirmation email will be sent to you providing you with all the details you’ll need to know, our address and where to park.

    Please be aware any new client colour appointments will require a patch test 48hours prior to any service, therefore we will need to book a colour consultation in beforehand. These initial consultations are free of charge and last approx. 30minutes.

  • Larger bookings such as weddings and special occasion hair will require a deposit to secure the booking.

    A minimum of 50% is required up front. The remainder is to be paid on the day of the event. This is due to Stacey potentially needing to shut the salon for the booking and to ensure the correct amount of time is allocated safely in advance. Stacey thanks you for your understanding.

  • A patch test is required 24 - 48hours prior to any chemical service. Failure to do so will result in Stacey not being able to conduct the service.

  • For any chemical service such as colour services whilst pregnant, it is advisable treatments are not to be carried out before 12 weeks.

    It is up to the guests discretion to carry out such services whilst pregnant.

    A new patch test is also recommended.

    Stacey will be guided by her insurances and any medical advice from the guest’s GP.

  • Stacey will continue to follow government advice and insurance guidelines in relation to COVID 19.

    At present, masks are no longer mandatory for both the guest and the stylist, however if you feel more comfortable wearing one please do, and Stacey will happily also wear one for the duration of your appointment. Please just ask.

  • Sadly our industry is effected by cancellations and no shows, therefore we have had to ensure this policy is in place.

    If guests fail to cancel their appointment with less than 48 hours notice or fail to attend their booked appointment, the full service price will be charged. Failure to do so will result in no future bookings at BEYOND. Only in exceptional circumstances will this be waived. Stacey has the right to determine such circumstances.

  • Stacey asks that all guests act in a professional and friendly manner at all times, as she would herself.

    Stacey has the right to refuse and not carry out hair services if any guest acts in an inappropriate manner. It is at Stacey’s discretion what is deemed inappropriate behaviour.

    Stacey also has the right to refuse hair services if she feels the hair condition is compromised following carrying out relevant hair tests.

  • If for whatever reason you are unhappy with any service that Stacey/ BEYOND has provided, we kindly ask you make us aware in writing and within 48 hours of your appointment taking place. This will allow us to resolve in a professional and timely manor.

    Any complaints must be made in writing and sent to stacey@beyondretreat.co.uk

  • On request there is disabled parking space available. A request for this must be made prior to your appointment booking.
